Let me introduce you to Holly-J - Originally from Wanganui, New Zealand, she catapulted onto the Australian music scene in 2009 and hasn't looked back since. During this time Holly-J has produced and played almost every musical genre known, earning a strong reputation by constantly delivering fun, raging sets filled with her clever mashups and thumping originals, and has proven time and time again to possess skills to switch effortlessly between genres, getting the crowd heaving every time she hits the decks.

Like any good story, there are always two sides, and the same can be said for Holly’s taste in music - In Melbourne, Holly-J is known for her hard-hitting Vocal Minimal, Oldschool Bounce shows, but she also goes by her alter ego ‘JINXIT’ when playing more Commercial Party or RNB shows - So, as a result, some of her most requested sets have become open-format, crowd-pleasing combos of the two.

 

When Holly isn’t performing to eager club or festival goers you can find her creating the perfect wedding dance floor for happy couples, entertaining large-scale corporate or sporting events, or teaching the next generation of DJs both privately and through the DJ Competition ‘YOURSHOT’.
